The Garden Conservancy has warned that the Hannah Carter Japanese Garden in Los Angeles is in danger of being destroyed.
A notice put out by the organization says UCLA plans to sell the garden -- now closed to the public -- before the end of this month, along with an adjoining house after removing objects integral to the garden's design.
The garden, designed in 1959 by noted Japanese designer Nagao Sakurai, was donated to UCLA in 1964.

Every time I see this very nice scenery. I started to feel relaxed and unwind because this garden really helps me to be more positive and in a good mood. It's really sad that this place is now selling. :(
