This garden was on last weekend's Garden Conservancy tour in Washington, CT ... and I'd sure love to go back when the wisteria vine shown here (at one entrance to the garden) is in full bloom. I've never seen one done quite like this, and I love the concept of the clipped circular vine ... cascading off to the side over the wall.

I recommend advocating only the use of the native species (W. frutescens), as the Asian species are taking over our woodlands. In a way, they're worse than kudzu because they can sprout seedlings in the shade.
