Jane Berger is a journalist and landscape designer based in Washington DC.
A graduate of the University of Michigan and the George Washington University Landscape Design Program, she formerly worked as an editor, writer, and radio news correspondent for the Voice of America. She served as correspondent in London, NYC, and, in DC, at the White House, Pentagon & Supreme Court.
Jane's landscape design business is Garden Design Online, serving the Washington DC Metro Area and other areas via e-designs. Jane is a Fellow of APLD, the Association of Professional Landscape Designers; she was a member of APLD's Board of Directors (Communications Chair) and editor of its quarterly magazine, The Designer, from 2009-2014. Jane also writes on gardening & landscape design. Clients have included The Associated Press, and the following magazines: Landscape Architecture, The American Gardener, American Style, and Home & Design.
