Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge, MA, is much more than just a cemetery. Established in 1831 and laid out like an 18th century English landscape garden, it is an arboretum, a home for vast species of birds, a horticultural wonderland of gardens, and also a peaceful resting place.
Mount Auburn is now celebrating its 175th anniversary. The celebrations include a lecture series, and the last three are scheduled in April and May.
