Amber Jubilee™ Ninebark
From Bailey Nurseries, new for 2014, another First Editions® ninebark, Physocarpus opulifolus 'Jefam'.
The leaves, of course, are the primary reason to grow the plant. They emerge in vibrant tones of orange, yellow, gold and green, and in autumn, they turn deep red to purple.
Amber Jubilee was named in honor of Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee, which was celebrated in 2012.
The plant has a spread of about four feet, and a height of about five to six. It has an upright, rounded form and takes full sun. Best of all, it does well in zones 2-7. Plant in groups for a great display throughout most of the year.
